DISINFECTANT USE DIRECTIONS

Heavily soiled surfaces require cleaning prior to disinfection.

TO DISINFECT NON-CRITICAL, PRE-CLEANED INSTRUMENTS AND MEDICAL DEVICES: Dilute 1:40.

1. Instruments must be thoroughly cleaned to remove excess organic debris, rinsed and dried.
2. Thoroughly clean and rinse lumens of hollow instruments.
3. Using either a tray or an ultrasonic unit, immerse instrument in use dilution for 5 minutes.
4. Remove and rinse instruments.
5. Wipe dry prior to use.
6. Discard solution after each use.

DISINFECTION OF NON-POROUS HARD SURFACES such as the exterior of fume hoods, tabletops and other environmental surfaces, etc. Dilute 1:40. Apply to surface with cloth or disposable wipe. Ensure surface remains wet for 5 minutes.

BROAD-SPECTRUM SANITIZING ON ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES (>99.9%): Dilute 1:128. Apply to surface, allow to remain wet for 30 seconds. Wipe dry. No rinsing is required. Food contact surfaces require rinsing with potable water. PREempt Concentrate meets stability testing for up to 30 days after dilution with tap water.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION AGAINST HIV (Human Immunode ciency Virus) on objects and surfaces soiled with blood/body fluids. This product is intended for use against HIV only in those settings where the virus would be expected to be encountered, such as settings where contamination by blood or body fluids is likely.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING SURFACES OF BLOOD AND BODY FLUIDS: Gloves should be worn. Remove excess blood and uid with absorbent materials. Clean contaminated area: Apply diluted 1:40 to surface, allow surface to remain wet for 30 seconds, wipe dry. Disinfect contaminated area: Apply diluted 1:40 to surface, allow surface to remain wet for 5 minutes.

PERSONAL PROTECTION: Disposable gloves, gowns, facemasks, or eye coverings as appropriate, must be worn during all cleaning of body uids, blood and decontamination procedures.

DISPOSAL OF INFECTIOUS MATERIAL: Products contaminated with blood or body uids should be disposed of according to Federal, Provincial, and local regulations for infectious waste disposal.

 

USE DILUTIONS MADE EASY

DIRECTIONS TO MIX: 1) Fill empty container with cold water based on the amount required for desired dilution. 2) Carefully add the concentrate into lled container. 3) Gently shake or mix the concentrate and water in the container prior to use.
